Team Red, White, and Blue and Achilles Foundation
I was a selected leader fellow that toured the eastern U.S. with a mission to talk to veterans about health and the importance of being active and leaders in their community. I also completed an Ironman triathlon (2 mile swim, 112 mile bike, and 26 mile run) during the year long program and raised funds to support veteran programs.
Achilles gave me an opportunity to support vision impaired athletes by acting as a guide during marathons.
